Challenge yourself by taking Adult Dance Classes at SCBS!

Our adult classes are designed for fun and fitness, whether you have never danced, danced when you were younger, or want to keep up with your dancing. People of all ages, sizes and abilities can enjoy and benefit from ballet and dance of all types —it is a great way of improving strength, stamina, coordination and cardiovascular fitness. Also... It's lots of fun, so why not give it a try?

We offer a variety of different adult movement classes to cater to a range of abilities, from returnees to ballet after many years to professional-grade classes.

For pure beginners, we recommend the Dance Conditioning class. It is a great way to gain basic strength and vocabulary.


  • Adult Ballet classes are $12 per class or 11 classes for $120 with class card.

  • Conditioning classes with Emilio are $15 per class. 

  • Contemporary Dance with Tania is $40 for 4 classes or $15 per class.

    Attire for all classes: Anything you are able to move well in (Yoga clothes / loose fitting workout clothes / ballet leotards and tights / etc.) , plus ballet slippers

Mondays & Wednesdays, 11:30am - 1:00pm

Adult Contemporary Dance (All levels) with Tania Vergara:
Tuesdays, 10:15am - 11:15am

Adult Ballet (Beginner) with Tania Vergara:

Tuesdays, 11:30am - 1:00pm

Adult Ballet (Advanced) with rotating teachers:
Saturdays, 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Dance Conditioning with Emilio Borjas (All levels):
Wednesdays, 4:00pm - 5:00pm & Saturdays, 2:00pm - 3:00pm
